How do I create a an account?

When you book service an account is automatically created for you. All you have to  do is choose your password and you’re ready to go.

Do you service my area?

We service ALL of Washington, DC and Alexandria and Arlington, VA as well as several areas in Maryland.  Please check our services area map HERE.  You can always give us a call, just to check if we service your area.

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Our services page details what we include in our standard cleaning, deep cleaning, and move-in/move out cleanings.

How much will my cleaning cost?

Our booking form calculates the price of your house cleaning for you.  Please check out our booking page HERE

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

We bring all the cleaning supplies required to leave you with a spotless home.  We always try to cater to our customers.  If you have a specific product that you would like us to use and you would like to provide, we ask our clients to sign a liability release before doing so.  We know how our products behave on different surfaces, but are not familiar with every cleaning product available.

How do I log into my account?

Logging into your account is Easy!   Just click here

How do I change my password?

You can change your password by logging in to your account HERE and select your name at the top right of your account page.  Select change password and you’re all set.

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by visiting our account login page.  Select forgot password and new password will be emailed to you!

How do I change my address?

You can change your address by signing into your account Here.

How do I change my credit card?

How do I book my first appointment?

You can book your appointment in less than a minute by going to our booking page HERE.

Pricing & Policies

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

Is there a charge with last minute cancellations?

Yes! You will receive a few confirmation emails notifying you of your upcoming service. Failure to review the confirmation emails is not a justification to request a waiver of the fee.  Further, if the customer completes the booking via telephone, it is the customer’s responsibility to review Maidwell Cleaning’s terms of service and policies on the website. Please check your inbox and spam and junk mails for your confirmation email. We ask that you please notify us by 6 pm the evening before your booking if you need to cancel. If you fail to do so, we will charge you a $40 cancelation fee. If we arrive and you decline the clean or do not answer, we will charge you 50% of the total booking. If you cancel at the last minute but re-book the service at the time of cancellation Maidwell cleaning reserves the right to waive the cancellation fee.

What are your terms of service?

Please carefully review of Terms of Service here.  Please note our cancellation policy.  Customers are responsible  for reviewing and understanding all terms and conditions.  Failure to review company policies, terms and conditions is not grounds for exemption of any late cancellations and fees.

Are your cleaning professionals’ backgrounds checked?

Every Maidwell cleaning employee is interviewed in person and must successfully pass an extensive background check.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

We never expect anything to go wrong, but accidents can happen. Our cleaning pros are trained to handle all situations, and they will contact the main office immediately if necessary.  You can  contact us right away HERE and we will resolve any issue that you may have.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Maidwell Cleaning takes our customers security seriously.  Our booking page and booking form each has its own layer of security. Our credit card transactions are processed by STRIPE and are layered on their own secure system. We do not store credit card numbers in our system.

What is your 100% Happiness guarantee policy?

All of our services come with the Maidwell Happiness Guarantee. We GUARANTEE you will be satisfied with your cleaning or we will come out and re-clean.  Just reach out to us within 24 hours of the original service and it’s a done deal!
